Whenever My mother calls me or I call her , she never asks me how my work is , or did I meet someone or not. She always worries what am I eating. Every now and then I tell her, I had salad for lunch. And whenever I tell her Salad, she anticipates something more in my answer and when it doesn’t comes , she says Salad and ????
I say, just salad. Then she will start, I saw your photos on Facebook, you have become so lean, this and that.I really don’t understand why it is so hard to believe that Salad can be fulfilling and can act as a complete meal.
e.g this salad bowl of mine, created by me is full of nutrition.
Apples – I am getting potassium , sodium, sugar and calcium , Magnesium, vitamin A, Vit C, Vit B6 , Iron
Plum – Calcium, potassium, Sugar , Vit A , Vit C
Grapes – potassium, calcium ,Vit A C and B6
Same from the dried tomatoes
Cashew – Magnesium, Fats
Turnip greens -Vit A,B,C,K,E
And I am getting protein from milk that I drink.
but at the end of the day, how many diet charts I can show to her, she will never accept salad as a full diet.
